Get the right gear
The Tipper is available with manual, Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) or 9-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DT) with Torque Converter (DCT). All designed and tested for light duty trucks. That's more choice than you can shake a gear stick at. *Transmission choices available based on specific models.

The Tipper has three Isuzu common rail intercooled turbo-diesel options, ranging from our 110kW (150PS) power plant with 375Nm of torque through to our 140kW (190PS) engine punching out 513Nm.

4-Cylinder
The future is moving to more efficient engines with low displacements and high torque. Our Isuzu 4-cylinder powerplant delivers just that. Mated with two-stage turbos, the 154kW (210PS) delivers 726Nm of torque and the 177kW (240PS) punches out 765Nm.

6-Cylinder
Based on the proven B6.7 engine, the Isuzu DB6A 6-Cylinder engine meets Euro-VI standards by reducing NOx and particulate matter emissions. It features unique calibrations and the i-Brake, an integrated compression brake that delivers significantly better retardation than the previous exhaust brake.
